Yeah I could turn around and make at least $1k if I sold it on ebay, or more if I fixed the hood and A/C. But I've searched too long for a project CRX and I'm not letting this one go.

I am Jealous! I used to have an 86 CRX HF. Best car I ever had for MPG's. It rotted out from the Ohio over salted roads in the winters. The front torsion bar mounts at the frame disintegrated (in 2001) and there was nothing to weld too. Easily got 53 MPG in the summer. You buy looks great - no rust. Enjoy!

Awesome! Looks incredible.
How much was the paint job? I'm thinking about repainting my Cx.

Cheers,

Wow, that car looks great... but how can you post pics of it with dirt & grime on the side right after getting that beautiful paint job?

Also, what are those evenly spaced spots in the side shot with the dirt? Speed Holes?

*smacks self on forehead* Uh, trim mounting holes, perhaps?

Note: This is now my most re-edited post ever.

Awesome find!

All you need now are the side moldings to set it off!

Cheers,
$1500, that included jambs and the underside of the hood (the replacement hood I found was white, car is red). He did all the prep, removed all the dents and door dings (there were a lot), fixed the sagging driver side door, re-applied undercoating that had come off, straightening the frame in front of the radiator (hood wasn't closing properly) and a final buffing. It included primer, three coats of color and I think 4 of clear.

They are for the trim. I have not installed the trim yet as I am cleaning it and refinishing it right now.
