Fitch Fuel Catalyst

Does anyone have any experience using this product that they can share. I'm thinking about using it and would appreciate any input.

This is my first post on this site and hope I'm doing it correctly. Please let me know if I should have placed it at a different forum.

It has been spammed here, but I can't remember anyone who actually bothered to try it. Most people have learned to be skeptical due to so many other products producing no results, pseudoscience used to advertise such products, and sources like these:
http://www.fuelsaving.info/debunk.htm
http://www.epa.gov/oms/consumer/reports.htm
http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/cons...tos/aut10.shtm

We've found other strategies that are much more effective, cheaper, and don't support the miracle snake oil industry.

The only thing I know about it is that it has been confirmed by the EPA that it does improve the quality of the gas.

...there is also a plausible mechanism whereby tin catalysts could reduce bacterial growth in fuel...
That's some badass bacteria!

In a previous life I worked for a mining company with many division one of which was a tin mine.
We payed around US$ 14.0 million dollars to the ITC (International Tin Council - a consortium set up to investigate alternative uses for the metal) including the use of tin as an "fuel enhancer" (both as a catalyst and as an additive for petroleum companies to add to their base stocks).

Simply put it was money wasted.

It failed miserably as a catalyst and there were better alternatives for the petroluem companies to use which they were mainly producing anyway.

Hope this helps someone make a better informed decision.

Cheers , Pete.
