I'm out, as of 2:30 p.m. yesterday.
12 days, 12.866 gallons, 294.3 miles, average 22.87 mpg.
[EDIT: Average 1.07 gallons/day.]
All local driving, longest runs were about 15 miles. Lots of short hop local runs under 4 miles, and errand runs with multiple stops.

Who's left in??
Speak up!

If you could when you fill give your gallons per day avg. That's kind of the jest of the comp. It's not really the FE it's how long you can last. As a side note it would be interesting to see cost per day for gas in your area even thought that will change as the prices fluctuate but it's interesting to see how much a day we spend on transportation.

Hmm, 4.69 days per gallon @ $3.25 for this last fillup . .

69 cents per day!

If only that were the true cost of ownership. Still, ignoring maintenance, my insurance on the Tercel is only $40/month, so it's a little over $2/day.

Dang, I'm not sure I should have done the math on that. I spend more to ride the bus. :P

7) Post as you hit every quarter tank mark.
Still waiting for the needle to drop to an indicated 3/4 remaining. 3/4 of 18 is 13.5. I'll post when I reach 14 as my tic marks are in 2 gallon increments.
A bit over 500 miles traveled so far and about 17 gallons remaining.

Yeah, I've got a little problem with that one too. My gas guage only works in the lower 3/4 of it's range and can read as low as half a tank when it is completely full. I'd guess I'm sitting at 3/4 right now though.

Outta here

I'm out.
Too much biodiesel in the blend for the cold snap we're having. I had no choice but to add more petrodiesel, once the fuel had thinned enough to flow so I could start this afternoon.
I had just made it down to the 3/4 full mark and about 650 miles traveled. So from 8 AM the 5th to 2 PM the 2nd is 27 days on 8.93 (call it 9 for ease) gallons averaging a gallon each three days.
So, Who is left still running?

Well the tree run this weekend sullied my chances of going too much longer. 30 miles at nearly full throttle tends to eat through the fuel!

Boy was that optimistic!

I'm out as of Friday night, getting a mere 149 miles out of nearly 10 gallons of gas. Not too bad in terms of Days per gallon at 1.9, but 14.9 mpg is worse than I ever got in the STi without worrying about FE. Don't do holiday trees kids. It sucks gas.

Well:

DarbyWalters, 8307c4, zpiloto,Kickflipjr, brucepick, Lug Nut, and Snax are out...Fish is still going.

I think the TPG is a good number to know. It is great to get astronomical mpg...but to get the most time per gallon is also a good thing.

GO FISH
