Let's share filling up tricks to save money?

There are a lot of tips on making our cars more efficient - how about sharing your tricks for filling up better?
Here are mine:
1. Use GasBuddy/other app to find the cheapest gas
2. Try to do my fill-ups mid-week to avoid weekend spikes in gas prices?
3. Fill up in the morning as opposed to afternoon (temperature difference) - not sure if this is measurably helpful?

What are yours?

I like to fuel up on the slowest "locked" setting the pump has. I could be on crack, but I think less fuel turns into vapor and I get a more consistent fill.
