A lovely bit of road. Used to love going over there on the bike.

One I do on a regular basis, it's basically a huge triangle, each leg is about 18 miles. Dolgellau to Bala to Trawsfynydd and back, pretty scenery, mountains, lakes and open fields whichever way you do it. Only takes an hour, so I do it quite often. Took this one today, the road is hard to make out, but its to the left in the pic.

I enjoyed the road in Blue Ridge Parkway in the Pisgah National Forest.

Of course, if ya gots ta get away from flat, there is 3000 foot Snoqualmie Pass, 4000+ foot Stevens Pass, 5500 foot Chinook Pass, 5500 Washington Pass, 6400 foot Lion Rock or some 7000 foot mountain logging road crawls. Ya ain't got them in England.
It's hard to argue with Washington State. The roads have great variety, it's just the deer and other obstacles at times that stifle fun or relaxing motoring. Any driver from any country would love it if they took a week here easily. You'll notice how fast driver's clip along in dry weather on passes and roads with tons of turns. A true road warrior finds a way everywhere but man is there some good sections of roads. The State budget is very high in the whole nation for roads so it adds to grip, ambience and experiences.

Surrounding Route 203, travels to the Salish Sea(Puget Sound) can be made, or go to the deep moss-filled Cascade Mountains, Mt. Rainer or travel further to desert-like eastern Washington.
The final leg of Fuel Faction DUE takes us across Sardinia via some of my favourite roads in the world, what an epic adventure!

Welcome, Jennifer. That rounds amazing. An acquaintance of mine has done the "Rust to Rome" and such like. Quite an adventure.
