I agree. There's an insurance statistic out there that says, on average, people who are driving a stick-shift vehicle are less likely to have an MVC (Motor Vehicle Crash). Studies link it to more attentive driving, better control of the vehicle, etc.

I shoulda said likely, but I'm too lazy to edit.

Anyway, yeah, that's the thought, and I agree with it also. I get so sleepy when I drive the auto and never with the stick,
