There is a wire going into the sensor and one going out. If you put a 2nd sensor in the airbox (3/8" drill) and connect one of its terminals to a wire that connects to the other sensor, and the 2nd terminal through a resistor set at about 500 ohms and then to the 2nd wire that connects to the other sensor, it will produce a resistance value a little lower than 1 sensor alone, and the difference will appear as an IAT reading 10 to 20f higher than 1 sensor alone.

Keep in mind that at this point I have only proven that this produces the temperature input reading a bit higher than stock as I desired, but I have NOT yet proven that it actually gives me a slightly leaner mixture and better fuel economy long term. This is because we can't rely on the scangauge to be telling the truth on its MPG reading because we don't think it looks at the injected amount of fuel to make its calculation.

As I have said before, there are pics of the insulated hot air intake over at saturnfans.com under this user id in the photos section. The pics were taken a couple years ago before I added the 2nd sensor.
