Thanks for the input on the so called chip. I wasn't going to get it anyway after emailing them 3 times with no response.

I've changed the chips in little motors and huge motors. Except if, it has a super the change is by all accounts immaterial, then again, actually now you'll need to utilize premium. In any case, they tackle job extraordinary in the event that you've added different alterations like a fumes, or air channel get together, and so on Generally chips w/o a super or supercharger add around 10-15 pull and around 5 ft-lbs of force. On another note if your truly anticipating completing a few changes to the motor your good holding up untill they are done prior to changing the chip. Some exhibition shops can tune the chip to consider the progressions you've made, and truly make the chip work for you and different mods you've done.

Some performance chips will just trick the ECU into thinking that there is more airflow and so your vehicle will run richer. A tuner is a better route because you will notice an improvement in performance and MPG. I bought a Diablosport from 4wheelonline, and love it. There are lots of things that I can tweak using this device to make the throttle more responsive, increase torque, etc.

In general though, the engine will have to work less hard, so economy should improve. There are all kinds of electronic improvements you can make to a car now, including power pedals, gearbox mapping for quicker changes etc (if applicable) but if you'd rather economy over performance, then you can opt for an eco map too, which is more likely to improve fuel efficiency.
