I had a short trip that netted something around 98 mpg over 26 miles this w/e. So managed to drag tank FE a little higher: it's sitting around 77.x right now.

I'll post team summary tomorrow - I've got a couple of reports in by PM, and will scour the gaslog for the rest.

77.7mpg (451 miles, 5.8gal) as determined by calculation. This was the 1st tank with the SuperMID installed, so I pretty much just drove my usual style while observing what the MID showed. The instantanious mpg was supersensitive to throttle position (i.e. changes in speed and road grade), but much less so to driving at different speeds (35 to 65mph) on a flat road. So it looks like driving with load would be best while driving on what I would consider a flat road , while pulse and coast would be best for rolling terrain (pulse up/coast ICE-off down). Also dialed in the distance (minor error) and fuel (big error) correction factors on the MID after gassing up. I'll apply what I learned on this next tank.

I think most people are surprised at that. I was. In my car, I can make a significant change in fuel consumption (at cruise, for example) with a foot adjustment that is undetectable on the butt-o-meter (mine, anyway).

Looking forward to seeing what more the MID can help you eke out of your car basjoos.

Last tank =~35mpg, which would've been ~38mpg, if my damn water pump wasn't going out. *shakes fist* And the next one will be even worse. At least I can get that and the t-belt out of the way.

I will be getting my mpg baseline in a few days. So far the SW2 seems to be getting fairly good mpg (mid to upper 30s).
