Cool.

My most recent fill:
16.342 gallons
466.7 miles
28.55 mpg

Very good for me for this time of year, when compared to my historical data. Still lots of room to improve.

Thanks Z. Today's run was 77.8 over 41.4 miles and the tank is now at 76.3 after 516.5 miles with 5 pips showing. If it wasn't for my trip to Oak Creek, WI on Saturday for the Milwaukee Hybrid Group meeting, I probably wouldn't have to fill up until next week. I see a possible 700 mile tank when I fill on Friday.

Sorry I haven't been staying on top of this. This series runs to July 1st correct? I am going to ahve to fill before that. I liked the 4 week thing, or even a monthly things so I know without thinking when it is done I get confused easily, but then again I am doing to much at once as usual.

Well, I will need confirmation of when to do the last fill also. I filled up yesterday so my next and last fill for the cycle will be over 3 gallons.

Yeterdays was a personal best.
415 miles
6.2 gallons
66.9 mpg.
That's pretty good for a Saturn if I do say so myself .

I sense I need something more now.

I ordered the head gasket so I can put in the Somender Singh grooves. I am going to do that before the wide ratio O2 sensor. One fella with the grooves and a megasquirt reported cruising at 18:1 A/F with a turbocharged Volvo. The plan is that those two mods will get me to 60 mpg at 60 mph and then I am going to relax a bit and use my car for more of the shorter trips again. Those short trips take the mileage down a bit.

I started out wanting a car that got 40 mpg on the highway.
I then wanted to commute at 60 mpg.
Now I am setting myself a target of 60 mpg on the highway. I gotta stop moving the target .

Sorry, I got carried away for this thread.

Arrow Week 5

1. The Right Lane Rollers -- 10.9%
2. Team "Leftover Bananas" -- 9.7%
3. The GasMisers5 -- 7.3%
4. Team OPEC Busters -- 3.8%
5. Team Slow Burn -- 2.6%
6. Team Feast & Famine -- (-1.8%)

For specific player details, please see the spreadsheet. Next Week Individual Results will be posted in the thread.

Teams: Don't forget that Day 42 is rapidly approaching! For all active team members that have not yet posted a fill, a 3-gallon minimum fill is required by the end of the Tournament Cycle -- in addition, one missing player requires a 5% penalty off of the team total.

Good luck everyone...

Dear Commish,

Don't let me confuse you with facts....but the week just finished was week 4, not week 5 as labeled. Cycle 1 ended May 20. Cycle 2 began May 21.

EXHIBIT #1

CYCLE 2 weekly dates

Week 1..... May 21-27
Week 2..... May 28-June 3
Week 3..... June 4-10
Week 4..... June 11-17
Week 5..... June 18-24
Week 6..... June 25-July 1

6 weeks= 42 days

Case closed.

Thank you, your honor. CO ZX2

You gotta contact Internal Affairs on that one -- in the meantime I hold you in contempt! Where's Matlock...

Thank goodness -- that would've meant I would be on Vacation during the final tally.

Virginia watches Matlock but I have to listen. Please don't throw me in jail. I'm old and feeble and sorry. No kidding.
