Vtec-E D15 auto in a 91

so i bought a Vtec-E D15 with a p07 head and it came with a p28 ecu and a canadian SI auto transmission obd1. since my car has an auto in it anyways and i need to convert to obd1 as its a 91 i might aswell swap the newer trans in too.

what ecu do i need to used to make this run efficiently.
ive heard the p84 is the one to go with but im not sure.
i also would like to stay away from the 5 wire o2 as i know that there were factory vtec cars without it and its expensive as hell.

or do i just chip the p28 with a map? and if so which map?

thanks for the input.
