Worse mileage with SG2?

Have some of you noticed worse mileage with the SG1/2???

As soon as I installed it my mileage began to plummet. The thing that I noticed is I'm watching my scangauge too much and it affects how I drive. I don't watch it to the point where I crash into somebody it's just the numbers fill my head and it confuses the way i drive. I was able to get 42mpg tanks without the scangauge, with the scanguage the best i've done is 39mpg.

I think the thing is the scanguage should be used as training wheels to see how your car behaves then take off those training wheels(sg1/2) when you're done learning.

Now I want your opnions..

You are probably spending too much time checking the numbers with the engine idling and wasting gas plus it is winter time . . . cold outside! Also have you calibrated it yet?

no...i do't check the numbers while it's idling because i know them by memory... 0mpg, 9tps, 0.2gph and 3.5-3.9MAP

There is no winter here..the weather is the same year round...cali baby..huge real estate prices and suicidal traffic...

I haven't calibrated it...even with calibration it would give me similar results...I loaned it to my buddy for a while who kept complaining about bad mileage on his solara..

I want to see what numbers i can muster up without the SG2

On the Jeep Liberty CRDs the SG's have caused them to run funny sometimes...but we have piggy back computers. A SG will not stay on the whole time...it will freeze up at no particular times
