You connected it to the wrong hose. The top hose is usually the hot hose taking hot coolant from the engine to the radiator around 200f and the lower hose takes cold coolant from the radiator back to the engine. You can test it out by simply touching both hoses after driving the car. One will be hot to the touch, the other near ambient temp.

Why have you used so much hose line?

I thought you could just heat up the fuel rail?
