Check out my newly powdercoated vx rims.. I got a pretty good deal from this place in East Hampton, CT called American powdercoating. The guy let me sandblast them myself, which took a while but save me some money. He charged me $30 a rim and no tax... I also put on Kumho 795 touring tires 155/80-13 I like them so far but haven't even run through a entire tank yet to see if I am getting any mpg improvements over my old 175/70 tires..
If any one has some center caps, Please let me know. Thanks Jesse
Nice! I borrowed a cheap sandblaster, and will try to do my new spare this weekend. Going the cheap route, & will paint it myself. If it's fugly, I'll get em powdercoated.
I prefer the 'alloy' look myself, but it looks like a great job! Powdercoating is the ay to go i think if you want it to last long.
Oh and I'd be in the market for one center cap myself since I am unfortuantely missing one...
I like the blackout look. Your rims will never show brake dust, . I want to see a picture of your whole car to see the overall look.

When I powder-coated my racing disks oh-so-long-ago, they didn't scratch until they flew off my car (darn those evile harry potholes!). Since they weren't rims and they were pristine, I think it only cost me $20-$25 per disk.
