I noticed that they are also apparently finally starting to focus on reducing weight as well. I'd like to see the batteries manufactured here in the US, but Saft has been in the battery business for quite some time and is a producer of quality products. It should be interesting to see if any consumer vehicle can remain affordable however. |

Lithium is not an infinite resource, all energy has been targeted for tax and trade. Radicals will continue their march of impossible demands. |
yup, it's ironic that tax breaks are given on these types of vehicles and the majority of individuals buying them don't really need a tax break.
don't get me wrong, i'm all for less taxation. |

The question asked if the cost would go down as its used more, and the answer to that is that as demand increases, the price will too. That was not answered in that link. Additionally, there is the assertion that fossil fuels will run out, but that data comes from enviornmental radicals trying to generate a crisis in addition to the raw material folks actually getting it out of the ground at a set price. Again, if there is an impression of a crisis in supply, the price will go up. There has been research done that found that the earth potentially produces petroleum raw materials as a part of its natural process, not as a process of decayed, fossilized remains. |
