i just bought a 1991 civic hatchback, so far i'm enjoying it.:D before i was driving a 90 supra turbo, i still have it but trying to sell it. on the supra i was getting 20-25 mpg. i haven't calculate my my mpg on the civic but if anyone think they have a good idea on what the mpg for a 91 civic hatch 4speed please do put it up.

According to FuelEconomy.gov EPA estimates are 30mpg for our car. Averaging a 40MPG + is excellent in my book. Take a look at my log and feel free to ask any questions!

IMHO, from a fuel economy standpoint, our d15b1 STD's engines are the second best EF engines (second to the HF engine). My opinion is based on our cars having the tamer cam than the DX or SI engines. Unfortunately the 4 speed is what kills it. You probably found yourself looking for a 5th gear multiple times now, right? I just picked up an HF tranny and plan to install it sometime in the next month or two. You should try to do the same.
