Since I have 3 outlets in my car can I get 3 of them and see crazy increases in mileage?!

You know it's working when the LED light turns green!

Ooh, ooh, can I get one?

If I saw them in a store for $5 I might buy one for the opportunity to refute it.

I'm pretty sure for less than $5 you could build one, and then refute that instead. :p

It's just a capacitor in a cig lighter adapter. I could go to the surplus store and acquire some 140,000uF 30v caps they have there and that'd beat anything they could possibly fit in that little adapter.

I was betting it was just a capacitor as well. I'm a car audio nut and it's a myth that it helps your charging system in that application too. The little capacitor in that thing would discharge so fast and with such little actual energy that your vehicle wouldn't even know it's there. Then after it's discharged guess what happens? It's a drain on your electrical system until it gets charged again.

I got an old cell phone charger... I can cut off the wire and sell it to you for $4. LMK

I was thinking that myself... I'll even switch out the red LED for a green one.
