I'm running it without bigger injectors.

Yeah, I would run E85 in my truck if there was a cost savings, and I wouldn't switch the injectors either. I would only switch the injectors if I was planning to permanently convert the vehicle to alcohol based fuels.

i still stand by my point that we should be given a choice. i also still dont understand why they are looking to force e15 instead of e10. |
It doesn't make more power that I can tell, but it does go down the road (that's my goal).
|
Choice would be nice, but so far there is only a handful of stations in Virginia, and all but 1 are owned by the Government!

They're virtually everywhere in the Midwest.

Not here on the east coast, and when you do find a station with E85 its usually at least the same price as E10, or sometimes even more expensive.
|
yea id attempt a tank IF it were noticeably cheaper than e10 (all i can get here, regular is hard to find) when i do find it its usually at Caseys (dont trust em too much) or FS (fast stop)
thisisntjared - i didn't mean hard proof (nothign is without any doubt ever prooved) but just some things in the bible seem way to far fetched to me that when science is applied it really doesnt make sense. btw who's to say the bible is right? (not trying to open a can of worms just think about it) |
OK I just went 163.1m on straight E85 then topped off; 34.3 mpg. Yeah I know not the biggest fill but still you can see the fe was above my average.
|
I wish it was readily available here. The nearest station is about 20 miles out of my way, and the E85 is usually just as much, if not more than E10.
