New to the site
Hello everyone I own a 93 Honda Del Sol S with a heavily modified turbo 1.6L SOHC engine that I'm running a home built lean burn prechamber. This engine is something I have been working on for the last 10 years. It is purposely built for economy and racing.
To date the best fuel economy has been 74mpg at a average speed of 58mph. This was done last summer on a 600 mile trip. I have done a few other 70mpg trips also. The next step is to see how far I can go on 10 gallons of fuel. |
WOW, a 70mpg turbo. Are you sure your guage is working correctly LOL...J/K
That's some really good number man, keep up the good work. |
I used to have a '95 Del Sol S. I got 47 mpg, but that was with the 1.5L and a 5-speed. I would love to see the specs on your engine.
Welcome to the site. |
Welcome, 74mpg is insane!

Yeah. I would like to see pictures, especially of the prechamber!
