installed a vx into my 94 dx need help with 5 wire 02 pin out
 

does anyone know how to wire up the 5 wire 02 into the factory 4 wire 02 setup i am having troubles finding out how to do this. please help i am getting ****ty *** gas mileage. like 200 miles to a tank. the only thing done to the motor is a y8 intake manifold with a ls throttle body. but pleas give me a pin out of the 5 wire 02 wiring.....please

come on people i know someone knows how to wire up a 5-wire 02 into a dx with the 4-wire 02. please help me

You need the factory service manual at the very minimum and maybe as far as the electrical wiring diagram. If you're serious about working on this car, just pony up the $50 or $100 for BOTH books and you'll be good to go. The books are very cheap for these cars especially if you get them used because these cars are so plentiful.

I've never done any service on my 98 K1500 that has required any manuals.

i have a large chiltons honda book but doesnt help much. ive been studying the darn thing for 3 weeks now. it shows 6 or 7 wires and the 02 only has 5. im using my stock dx wire harness. im a good electrician and this has got me stumped. but i think i found something last night to help run the wires to the right pins on the ecu. hopefully it works. Yes trust me i never go anywhere without my chiltons manual.

There are 5 wires on the O2 and 7 wires in the harness it connects to because there is a calibration resistor sitting inside the connector of the O2. The ECU uses this resistor to calibrate the readings it gets from the O2, that's why there's 7 wires on the car-side harness and only 5 wires on the O2-side.

dude thats the most helpful thing. thanks for finding it i've been searching every where for something like that. now all i need is the female side of the plug so it has the resistor in it. then i can run the wires fresh to the ecu. right now im running a p72 ecu in it for the 4 wire 02. it runs strong for 92hp. only has a y8 intake and a ls throtle body. everything else is stock. vtec is nice kicking in at 4500 then it pulls good til 7100. but i rather have the fuel eco right now
