Can no longer add fuel-ups with LG Viewty
When entering fuel-ups via my mobile phone, I am now forced to enter only numerical digits, meaning I can't add decimal points.
The first fuel-up I added was done on the 25th Aug using my LG Viewty phone. I can't remember if there was a mobile-specific entry form at that point. Either way, it entered fine, using decimal points. Today I tried to enter my second ever fuel-up exactly the same way, except both the mobile and "standard" fuel-up forms, when viewed on my Viewty, restrict the data entry to just the digits 0-9. On my phone, the numerical entry mode only has 0-9, and decimal points are added via the text entry mode. This means if my fuel cost £1.099/litre, I would have to round to £1/litre! I'm guessing you changed the form to restrict data entry to numbers only, but this has broken the form for my Viewty unfortunately. |
Yep, we changed the form so Blackberrys would get the numeric input by default, and decimals worked fine there in our test. But it sounds like it's breaking the LG. I took away that code for now, so you should have full entry access again.
We'll have to come up with some user-agent sniffing for the Blackberry, thanks for letting us know. |
Yeah, it's working again now on the Viewty. Cheers!
