Snake Oil Doctors

I have tested so many fuel saving devices in the last 30 years that I know I would not invest a dime in any of them. These people with there pills, magnets,
, Catalyst, oils and brews are all full of.... Ok 2 things have worked. none of the were listed above. As the Lab Manager of California Environmental Eng I saw it all. I was there for 28 years, people walking in and throwing someone else's money on the table. Why Testimonials. I can find 20 people who think OJ did not do it and put it in writing. Sorry for the bad thoughts. Just tired of watching people get ripped off. If you need a expert let me know.

Under braking a vehicle stored hydraulic fluid via a pump in the drive shaft. It was stored in welding cylinders. When the gas pedal was pressed the transmission fluid under high pressure re-entered the transmission. It blew the truck to about 10 MPH then the transmission worked normal. It was a very crude system and the drivablility was poor. With todays systems it would save brakes and fuel. BTW It increased city mileage by 30%

The other was a hydrogen generator. I have seen a lot of them, 99% of them would not be able to light a smoke. There is one that will blow a steady flame about 8 inches high using a propane torch tip. To me, where there is fire there is power.. Its a no brainer. Its just that the engine I tested it on was a 12 liter Detroit diesel and the fuel economy was determined by carbon balance.. About 4 or 5 percent better..Not to bad for a big diesel

Cool, thanks for sharing the info. The hydraulic hybrid thing is very interesting. I remember UPS was testing something like that on its trucks. Don't know what happened to it.
