Autometer 9100 MPG Gauge Questions

Here is the gauge for anyone unfamiliar. My question is mainly, has anyone got any experience with the gauge? I have a 2003 SVT Focus and being supercharged I already have the 3 gauge pod on the driver's side pillar. Recently the digital RPM gauge went out and I found this and it's mpg with an rpm built in. This is good because I need more MPG. I get something like 20-22 average and should be around 26-28 average. Some of the blame can go to the bad tune (running really rich) but some of it has to be my driving.

So anyways, does anyone on here use one? I wanted to know how reliable they are, how accurate they are, and how much you like them compared to others on the market.

Thank you in advance.

The most popular and most versatile is the Scangauge. The Ultragauge is a little flashier, but doesn't have as many features as the Scangauge. I've never heard of the Autometer.

I have heard of both of those and have thought about them but neither one will fit the opening on the gauge pod on the pillar. It is for circular gauges 2.25" in size I think but dont quote me on the size. The autometer would have fit in there perfectly. If anyone else has had any experience with this gauge in particular, it would be helpful.

I think i may get it anyways but I would just like to know what to expect when I get it, especially with accuracy.

Flashier and slightly feature-fewer, the UG does have a number of functional strengths...plus the price is a fraction of the SG.

Anyway, I have read about a few pod-compatible gauges before. After googling a picture, I think this particular unit has been reviewed on this site before.

Ah, found two threads:
