New here, north of the border
Hey guys, I figured that I should probably introduce myself here. I have a 70 El Camino but my real focus here is with my 2000 Dodge Neon. Its just a basic 2.0 with an automatic trans. So far it has a basic IAT sensor chip, 4" front air dam, tires at 40 psi and just recently did a warm air intake. I've got a bunch of aluminum and will be making a belly pain for it with a little bit of coroplast as well. Will probably also end up doing some partial wheel skirts to cover the massive wheel gap on these cars, and smooth wheel covers.
I would love to hit 50 mpg cdn. this summer. |

Welcome. I think your goal is attainable for trips, but it will be tough mixing in any significant amount of city driving.

Re: New here, north of the border
Thanks, yeah I'm hoping to be able to hit that on the highway, city driving will definitely make it tougher. My city driving isnt too bad, not having power steering and air conditioning, and appropriate driving style seems to help a lot. The way things are right now is that I usually have a large portion of my driving is on the highway, so I'm hoping that my goal of 50 should be attainable.

Oh, should probably mention my real name is Steve. I was lurking on the site for a while before I joined, definitely a lot of good info here!
