Hello, New owner - 1991 dx hatch
 

Hi all,

I just picked up a 1991 civic DX 5spd hatch last night.

Just had a baby girl who is now 4 months old. Dad needed a car for commuting, and mom gets to keep the 2010 prius.

It's in awesome condition, 1 owner. 220k miles

Is there an area to learn more about my cars on the form?

There's a lot of Civic owners around here, and a lot of information in general that applies. Just pick a spot and start reading... if you have any questions just ask.

That looks pretty darn clean. Great shape for a '91.

I drive a '91 DX sedan and have had a '91 LX sedan and '91 DX hatch, all with 5spd. My DX sedan has 323k on it and I have done nothing to the engine other than regular maintenance and replacing the distributor. My lifetime average FE is around 42 mpg in mostly highway driving, approaching 50 mpg in the summer using pulse-and-glide. The car is all stock except for VX wheels and narrower tires.
