WTB Honda Civic VX Exhaust Manifold (CA Emissions)
I would like to replace the cracked exhaust manifold of my '94 VX. I can't seem to locate the part anywhere for a decent price (and without the cat)...
The car being a VX, I already know that for example EX, SI, DX and HF manifolds are not compatible. Also, I have noticed that there are slight differences between 92-93 vs 94-95 VX manifolds (not sure if they would/not be interchangeable though). If you have one, or know of someone who has one for sale, please let me know. Thanks |
Good luck go to a welder and have them weld it. I need just the cat if you find one.

I have also tried to find an experienced welder to fix the manifold, but so far the search has not yielded much:

i happen to have gotten a 94 vx that im pulling all the 1.5 parts out of, and swapping in my z6y8 hybrid into. i will not need the exhaust or the converter, so feel free to pm me with an offer on either of these items.

Look on eBay I saw one there and what about the doorman one it looks like it might work. I don't have a ca model so.

I haven't been able to find a proper VX manifold on eBay, although I have checked the listings nearly every day. I believe by Dorman, you are referring to the 96-00 model with cat. It looks like it might work, but only if it's installed with the cat it comes with - the manifold will not bolt on to the original cat (which is what I have). And, since I need the CA emissions model, Dorman is an expensive solution (retailers are not allowed to send non-CA cats, which are notably cheaper, to California).

Yes there are the doormans but what about this.
https://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...id=74336082561 There is also a couple of doormans that are like 100 that look like a ca model with no cat I have a fed version so haven't seen a Cali up close. |
I've seen that one on eBay, it's actually not even a VX manifold (at least not CA model). For reference, see my post on hondamarketplace.
