civic vx shift not working?

Hello,

Just got a 1995 Honda civic vx. the shift light is not coming on when going throught the gears. I know the light bulb works, when I turn the key on the light does come on. The prev owner did replace the o2 sensor and the distributor. The o2 sensor was replace a year ago. the light was working until he replaced the distributor ( also the check engine light came on) pulled the code. tracked it down to a crank sensor wire that was pushed out of the plug going to the distributor. I reset the ecu by pulling the back up fuse under the hood. shift light still not coming on. Any ideas? Thanks

Do you have a check engine light on? If so you will not get the shift light.

Did you get this issue resolved. I just got new dizzy changed as well and my SIL no longer lights up but it use to work just fine before i changed dizzy. Also i did reset ECU with 7.5 fuse pull after service so it's reset. Any ideas. I just hope my lean burn is working. My car is 92 civic vx.
