Request to modify UI- Order of fields
 

Think of a user's workflow at the gas pump...

1) Pop the gas cover.
2) Get out select grade, setup payment
3) fuel car
4) put pump away
5) finish transaction
6) get in car and drive away

Now let's look at fuelly's fields, with the step that the information is first available next to it..

- Mileage (1)
- Quantity (4)
- Price (2)

Do you see the disconnect in workflow? Quantity and Price should be reversed.

When I get out of my car, I want to get the process started as soon as I can. So I rush to step 3, not worrying about data entry. I then have to wait to let the car fuel. I fill out fuelly at that point, with as much data as I can. By having quantity in the middle, you create extra taps.

I requested this change eons ago and not a single enhancement has been made to the mobile interface. The space between the 3 main data entry fields is too big requiring unnecessary up and down scrolling to enter data that's out of order of normal workflow and finally scroll down to the fill up button just off screen. :-(
