All Models Lumped Together?

How it Was: You could look at 2013 Mini Cooper S -- and ONLY Cooper S.

How It Is Now: All the 2013 Mini Cooper are in the same bucket. Because, you know, a Justa has the same engine and thirst as an S.. right?

If this is by design, the design, imo, is broken. People need to be able to compare apples to apples, not apples to habanero peppers.

Oh, and the Mobile app is much harder to use now. The % slider for city vs. highway is really hard to use, not intuitive like the old one was.

Just my 2¢

There are actually a lot of Mini Coopers not currently displaying until we get them reorganized.

If you go to add a new vehicle

Car -> 2013 -> Mini -> Cooper

In the submodel dropdown you will see many options, actually a lot of choices. Coupe, Coupe S, Coupe

I expect that the Coupe S will be merged into the Coupe S submodel and you will be able to filter down to just the Coupe S sub-model if you wish to only see those vehicles.

Same situation with my SVT Focus. Having a 31% horsepower increase and a standard 6-speed manual transmission makes a pretty large difference compared to the base Focus and its 4-speed auto. But there seems to be no way to isolate the SVT models when browsing the list.

There is now a submodel filter that you can use to sort out individual sub models.

This site keeps getting better!

You guys rule. Thanks for all the hard work.

Thanks for the work, but this isn't really fixed.

All the minis are coopers. The clubman and countryman aren't submodels of the cooper. You have the following trims for the cooper 2013:

base (1)
S chili (1)
S clubman (1)
John Cooper Works (1)
All Black (1)
John Cooper Works GP (1)
S (3)
Other (25)

This doesn't make any sense. 25 are categorized, and the S chili shouldn't be different than S. It's a mess.

Thanks for looking into it, but I agree with phlyer -- it isn't fixed.

I will post later with a picture to illustrate the issue at hand.

I agree that the mini cooper looks like a complicated mess.

We haven't altered the various submodels that the mini cooper is showing. They are how they appear in the database that we are drawing our updates from. Provide any information that you can and we will see what can be done to listings.

Those 25 users probably just need to update the vehicle in their profile.
