Hi from a Newbie

Hi, introducing myself on here so here goes.....

My name is Rob, live in Nottinghamshire, England. I recently sold my pride & joy a 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX. I now have a Toyota Aygo Sport as I needed something cheaper to run. Found this site by chance but glad I did, looks great !

Please feel free to add me as a friend.

Cheers, Rob

Hi Rob. Did a similar thing myself, chopped in my Abarth 500 for somthing slower, and cheaper to run. Needs must with the fuel prices in the UK!

Used to have to put in 98 RON or higher fuel. Locally had a choice of either Tesco Momentum or Shell V-Power. V-Power was about 6p per litre more the Momentum. Used to average 25mpg in the Scoob. Wish I had found this place before the Scoob went. Hoping for a bit more MPG from the Aygo !!

Welcome to the Fuelly! I think everywhere around the world people are running into the same problems. For instance I'm in the US, and I purchased a Ford Escape (Maverick in the UK) Hybrid and made my V8 pickup truck a secondary vehicle. I was tired of spending $80/week on fuel. Now I only spend about $40 every week and a half.

Yea but at least your fuel in the US is still cheaper than dirt, it's $10.65 a gallon here now! ;)

Even averaging 40 MPG in my old car was not good enough unfortunately.
