The MPG charts are not updating properly

Think I found a bug:

When I click on different engine types and click apply filter, the graph is not updating to reflect that filter - instead its showing a chart that looks like I never specified an engine type.

The old behaviour used to be the graph would reflect which ever filters I had specified...

Looks to be working on my end.

Can you provide the year/make/model you were researching when you noticed this?

Screenshots might help as well.

Thanks!

So it looks like the problem is only for the main graph before you pick a specific model year. So far I notice this problem on firefox and on google chrome on Fedora linux 18

Fuelly did not have this problem before the site change.

Notice in the first two screenshots how the graph is unchanged when I add the filter: (those two peaks reflect the statistics of two separate engine types)

Now notice how it does change when I add the filter after I click on a model year:

I'll second that...

I'll second this bug report. I was just about to make the same comment and found this thread, so I'll add what I found.

I noticed it while browsing vehicles, looking at the VW Touareg. Here it is with no filters applied.

And here, looking at Diesel V6 (147).

And here, looking at Gas V8 (19).

The data below the graph seems to update, but sometimes it seems not to - for example, the avg for 2014 is 24.9mpg when unfiltered, or when filtered this way. Not impossible, but seems unlikely. I'm guessing that this was just a coincidence, and that the data below the graph is Ok. But you might want to double-check it after looking at the graph.

But the kicker is, the graph itself never changes. Perhaps it's not meant to, but I expected it do, and it didn't.

Screenshots attached, but this links are probably easier to use.
