Signature Banners

Hi folks,

I tried the search feature and didn't turn up what I was looking for.

I signed up today for an account and entered my historical fuel data into the app. I wanted to add the MPG info banner into the signature of my forum user id. That part worked fine until I attempted to change the nickname of my truck due to a spelling error. Now the banner preview still shows the old nickname, even when i copy the HTTP code into the forum signature form.

Any insight on how to update the vehicle nickname on the signature bar?

Thanks!

When I view your sig, I show it matches your vehicle's profile.

Which forum do you have the sig posted on? Have you tried a hard-refresh on that site to see if it updates for you? Could be cached.

Hi Robert,

Tired the hard refresh to no avail.. I made a typo and wanted to change that '2104 Ecodiesel' to just 'EcoDiesel' That's the part I was having issues with.

The UK MPG sig shows correctly

but the US MPG is showing as you posted

Hm... that's odd because they both show exactly the same (minus the MPG of course) for me.

Can you link me to the site you've got your sig pic on, where you're seeing the incorrect/wrong name?

hi Robert,

Thanks for the reply. I tried viewing my signature on a different computer and it seems to have shown up correctly. I guess I didn't refresh my browser on my desktop correctly when i tried it before. Everything is good now, thanks for your help!

Glad to hear you got it all sorted out!

Could really do with the Signature being 400x75px and less than 20Kb in size so I can use it on some other more 'strict' forums.

I've had to get creative and cobble one together from the small Signature along with my own small .png

It looks quite good if I do say so myself! :D

I like the smaller version you made. There is currently a smaller sig available that is (120 x 45) really stripped down but we might be able to add something similar to your format as well. Thanks for the suggestion.

Does the sig convert MPG to US/UK depending on your settings? I noticed mine changes when I click US MPG, but I've noticed others that are stuck on US MPG unless I click their profile page, and I can see their MPG converted to UK.

I cheated!! :D

It's actually made from the 120x45 sig (on the left) and a .png with all the car info that I made (based on the Large one) using Photoshop.

I have to use the Large on here, rather than mine, as I can't use 2x images in the Sig, but the Size Nazzi's over in the other Forums I use don't mine multiple images as long as they fall within the 400x75 area! :)
