2015 Corolla "L"
 

This is my second Corolla. My first was a 2007.
I am very pleased with its overall performance. I did not purchase it to be a hotrod. I purchased it for MPG and reliability. My MPG since purchase has been as follows.
2015 Corolla "L" Manual transmission;
From dealer first full tank and after. The car had 3 miles on it when I purchased it.

Those are all of my fill-ups. I drive for MPG. I never do an engine warm-up. I just start it and go. I shift at 2000 RPM in all gears. I run 44 lbs in my tires. The tires are rated for a max of 51 lbs but I feel it is too hot here in Texas to put that much in the when cold.

I try and keep it at 55 mph or under although on the interstate I usually run 60 and few times have run 70. I also gage my stops and us engine braking.

I try and run only regular E-0 top tier gas, mostly Conoco. I have experimented with premium but found no benefit.
When I could not find E-0 and had to use E-10 I got around 10% less MPG. The vehicle is now broke in and the MPG seems to be on the rise. Also heavy rain effects the MPG usually a 2to 4 MPG.
I also added a cruise control as the "L" does not come with a cruise. Currently my driving is about 80% highway, and 20% city and I average a little more than 1 tank of gas a month. I have two other vehicles.

Now about its comfort. For a small vehicle it is acceptable. The seat was a little uncomfortable so I added a pad.
The E-brake lever is in a bad place and my leg rests against it causing some discomfort, but not more than I can bare.
So far I am pleased with it for what I purchased it for.

Congrats on a car you are so pleased with. You are fortunate to be somewhere with E0. I just got my first Toyota about 3.5 weeks ago. I filled it at 1/2 a tank. I was across the parking lot from a station at $1.819 while across town. Here it's $1.989 and up. So instead of waiting to buy a full tank I filled it and still got 49.4 mpg. That's on E10 so I'm sure it would be well over 50mpg on E0. I'll be going to Austin in a couple of weeks so I'll get to see what it does on a mostly highway drive.

Those are pretty good figures for a gas powered car, well done!

My on board computer reading is usually high by about 3 MPG so I always calculate the numbers myself to get the real MPG which is what I posted. Let us know how you do.
