Cool little review, I'm looking forward to the cars of the future. Although throwing that little 4C in there, boy we're going to miss those sweet engine/exhaust notes in the future, I don't know how we're supposed to draw the attention of the local skirt in a silent car! ;)

I bet the flat torque from the motor makes them great for towing too.

Unsurprisingly Tesla have just been voted the most reliable brand in the UK by owners. Not much to go wrong mechanicaly with only 18 moving parts (compared with 2000+ for a normal car) although I hope the complex electronics prove reliable in the long run! I'm sure the haters are running out of reasons to hate now?

No clue about the UK but in the US the haters are most often the leftist/progressive/liberal crowd and they never run out of reasons to hate even when they are 100% in the wrong. I've never heard of Dacia. It's an interesting list.

> > the haters are most often the leftist/progressive/liberal crowd ? I would think it would be the Rush Limbaugh crowd

Dacia are a Romanian brand, owned by Renault. They've only been sold in the UK a few years, thier cars are loosely based on old Renaults and as a result, currently boast the cheapest new car on the market at £5995. Cheap reliable transport for the masses that gives less wealthy families the first chance to buy a brand new car. Thier suv also has proven mechanics from the Nissan Xtrail, and starts at just £8495.

For interests sake, not wanting to hi jack the topic, but here are the bottom 10 unreliable brands.

LDB 05-29-2016 02:12 PM

Yikes. A few of the bottom 10 are a bit of a surprise. If the Dacia is truly reliable that's a good deal on a new car for about $9k USD. I think the least expensive new car here is a Nissan Versa for around $12k USD or $8k pounds.

I'm pretty sure none of the Rush crowd are burning police cars etc..
