Engineer Explains Fastest 0 - 60mph Time Possible

It's ingenious how he calculates it! Less than 7 minutes viewing.

BTW, for the first time I dared to go over 500 miles (504.9) with one tank of gas with my 27 y/o Civic. Filled up 10.994 gallons on 11.9 capacity fuel tank.

With my last 3 months MPG average being 50.3, that means I could push 550 miles on one tank. That's getting into DraigFlag territory!

Interesting video, not that 0-60 bothers me much, some cars have a low 0-60 time but feel fast, and others are quick, but over refined so feel slow. I'm somewhere in the middle with mine, slow compared to a Sports car, but the torquey diesel pulls like a train, it's how fast a car feel that matters to most.

As for your range Doug, sorry, I might be on my best tank on this one, I've clocked about 400 miles so far and my fuel gauge has only just budged ;)

I'm glad for you, Paul! (gawd damnit)

Yeah, i've had a load of cars with dodgy fuel gauges - needle not moving till 100, 200 miles have rolled by.

I thinks it's calibrated wrong, or the float is half way down the tank as it consumes roughly 5.5 gallons before it registers on the gauge.
