America's best selling vehicle, Ford F-150, gets diesel for 2018
The 2018 Ford F-150 Gets An All-New Diesel (!) And Upgraded Gas Engines
What To Expect In The 2018 Ford F-150 Diesel The Ford F-150 gets a diesel option for the first time ever (in addition to new gasoline engines), joining the Dodge Ram EcoDiesel as the only half ton pickups in America to have diesel options. Being in a lower class, the Chevrolet Colorado also offers a diesel. The 3.0 V6 turbo diesel is derived from Land Rover models and will be paired to a 10-speed auto. In the Land Rovers, they make 254 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque with an EPA rating of 28 MPG (34 MPG UK). I'm digging the front end of this truck without the gaudy chrome grill. https://i.kinja-img.com/gawker-media...d5hz476jzi.jpg |
We don't get the F series here, but we do have a Ranger, which looks similar. My friend has one, here it comes with a powerful 3.2 diesel, and a smaller more efficient 2.2 diesel.

There will also be a hybrid "by 2020".
