MPG images added
 

To just on the bandwagon, and to make posting your MPG figures on other forums easier, I have just added a cool feature.

It is best described in a picture:

If your MPG is 20% or more higher than the EPA value, it will look like this:

To get your image code, simply go to your garage entry and scroll to the bottom. It will be under your gaslog. Right-click and "copy image location." to post it in your signature, surround the URL in [ img ] tags like any other image.

The look of it will change and be more "modern" in a while, but I just wanted to get it functioning for now.

It's simple... you're EPA is SO LOW it's easy to get high MPG on that car :)

Thats freaking cool! Man... I really need to finish rebuilding my HF/VX... I've worked on it a TON this last week... V2 is almost done... It was soooo aweful to drive before with the bad rack and 2 billion other little things... but thats all be replaced (with better stuff I hope)... infact, I may try to start it tonight... see if my rewiring worked!!! =)

I just updated the code. the new code will update only when you make an addition to your gaslog, which will help our server loads a lot.

Please revisit your garage to get your code and repost your signatures.

No it's mixed driving. I average 31 mph on a tank of gas. Rolling terrain so some coasting. The scan gauge helped with fine tuning the route on the commute. I commute 50 miles round trip 2-3 times a week and about 18 miles of that is freeway with speeds verying between 40-60 MPH the rest is city driving.

Those are some good numbers.

Ok did that for both vehicles, now I have the EPA line on my graph but no EPA data in my image at the bottom.

didn't think about that. This images at the bottom update whenever you update your gaslog. I can manually update them right now... give me a second.

I noticed a small problem
 

I noticed a small problem with the current setup. If you update your gaslog the image will be updated, but most of us have cache on our browsers (for quicker page rendering) and the image will stay the same when we view it.

I have a solution but it will require everyone to change their signatures (again). I'll see if I have time tomorrow to get it working. I'll also set up an easy page for explaining how to post your gaslog image on other websites.

THis is caused by a bug I need to fix. It only happens when you don't have an EPA profile selected for your car.

This is on my list of things to do today.
