Anyway, I hope it's true, thier new stuff is fantastic, think German but with more style/flair and personality, not to mention reliability.

I have only owned one Peugeot. Very comfortable but a heap of rubbish in every other respect. One bad experience puts me off a marque for life. No doubt they are much improved from mine but I'll never own another.

Can't really compare that to a modern car, every brand has improved ten fold since that thing was made haha

Interiors are to die for too, check out the new DS7 interior, makes a Tesla look 10 years old already.

The interior looks great, but my experience of Citroen, and I reiterate, it is purely personal, the quality is sadly lacking. We got brand new Berlingos, and within two years (40,000 miles) the interiors were worn out, with holes worn in the carpets and trim broken and missing. These were not pool vehicles but issued to a regular driver.

Cars that started life as commercial vehicles never get the same attention to detail or build as conventional cars sadly. They are basically vans with Windows. French cars are only second to Japanese in terms of reliability.

They are certainly built alot better with better materials, if you want to know what I mean, go test drive a new Toyota Yaris. I had one for a month, extremely cheap flimsy plastic everywhere, you could push the centre console about and inch either way down by the gear lever.

I just had a new Honda Jazz on loan, and the fit and finish was immaculate. Nice quality interior with switch gear that felt like it was built to last.
