Is it better to run the fumes back to the intake manifold or just release them to the atmosphere (ground in my case)? :?

Definately run it back into the intake.

sadly, we do :(

I saw the one writeup that had them point it at the ground... and I was thinking, why on earth does this person even have a catch can? They should just run a straight line to the ground. But when I do this tomorrow, I will be sure to run it back into the intake manifold :)I'm just trying to figure out how to do it with my ga16de, since I have two lines coming from the valve cover... one to the intake manifold and one to the intake pipe.. should I plug the one part coming off the valve cover, plug the pipe coming from the intake and run the catch can on the other side or what?

yes I know. Doesn't the other line do the exact same thing (the one that runs to the intake pipe) ? But its worse since it has to travel through the throttle body as well?

You only need to do the one going to the intake manifold, I think the one going to the arm only carries fumes and not the other crap.
