Fuelly can work for BEVs, since they are using just one fuel type. Whether the correct units(Wh or kWh) are in place is the hurdle.

Yes. If you try to add a BEV (I went for Nissan Leaf) it asks if you want to record fuel in gallons or litres! Does that mean you have to use hydro-electricity?

Yeah, everybody knows that electrons are sold by the deciliter.

An individual could use Fuelly for a BEV by just treating the selected volume as kW or kWh, but that makes it useless for those researching cars.
