Weight: +170 lbs
+150 hp
+150 lbft
400V System
$75,000 cost

This unit fits Porsche 911s from 2009 and up. The $75k seems like a lot of money, but with technology the weight and the price will probably come down over time. This would fit an air cooled Porsche 911 perfectly, and when you are done you could take it out to re-sell the car stock. The hybrid system is running independently from the ECU. Its main purpose is torque fill.

If your Porsche is 1979 or older, an electric conversion could start at $85k.

The only 'damage' done to the car is drilling a hole for the power cable, so converting back to original is possible.

I was gonna say, full EV conversion can be done for that price. This company are very popular in the US and stock nearly every part you need. Porsche make good cars for conversion as they have space at the front and rear for batteries, and ample engine bay space for a motor.

I agree that going fully electric probably makes more sense, but some people like the engine noise and they want to be able to drive a car anywhere without being worried about the EV range.

This system would be perfect for a tuner who tuned his/her car to the max and could add this for even more power. You could make a 911 Turbo S that drives like a 918 for a fraction of a price.
