Fuelly math error
 

Anyone noticed math errors today?

Last fill up 193384 miles entered into fuelly
Today fill up 193770 miles entered into fuelly

Fuelly says I only traveled 244 miles instead of the 386 miles actually traveled. That kind of screws up the mileage calculation a bit.

You log by Trip rather than Total miles. Delete the miles values and just enter the correct trip mileage.

I've done it this way for the past eight years... over 900 fill up's all done through SMS.

IMO, doing it by the vehicle trip odo is pretty dumb, and it's not even an option if you use SMS.

Turns out this isn't the first time that fuelly has done this either. Downloaded the csv file and after running a check found that it had miscalculated mileage in June as well.

I had looked at your page and was mistaken in thinking you used trip as that was what it showed. But on checking mine it was similar, even though I use odometer. Sorry about that.

Delete the miles values and just enter the correct trip mileage.
