During my Navy time - after college - another officer had a series of Peugeot diesel and gas vehicles.

Based on the above - albeit the track record of later production cars - I would not buy one.

Now VW - in 2019 only - produced a fuel efficient wagon available with my method of gear change.

I'd have one today - except I'd just stolen a brand new 1.4 liter/5M Jetta (14337 OTD (tax, license, dork fee) in tax intensive Los Californios....................................... ....)

Peugeot haven't sold in the US for 30 years, you can't possibly be forming opinions from experiences that long ago surely? Haha

I would definitely go spend time looking at one in a showroom if they brought it here.
