New To Me Mazda 3
 

Hey All,

I haven't been on this forum for a long time. I still see familiar names posting here. I just purchased a used Mazda 3, hatch, manual transmission, 2.0 liter with 20,000 miles on it. So far the mileage has been about the same as my old 2008 Hyundai Accent manual. That poor thing has 230,000 miles on it and served me very well for 13 years.

I'm looking forward to recording some tanks on the "new" Mazda and can't wait for better weather and summer blend gasoline.

Unfortunately they quit selling non-ethanol fuel where I used to get it so it's back to 10% ethanol again.

Congrats on the 3. I had a hatch a few years ago. I liked it. I'd consider a Mazda again.

Hi Accelrok, loving it so far. Time for an oil change now and I haven't decided to do it myself or take it in. My best mileage on a single trip was 55 mpg on my way home from work (35 miles) with a tailwind on rural roads. The mileage computer keeps track of overall mpg and it's steadily risen up to 35.5 since I bought it. It was sitting at 23mpg and I didn't reset it.
