VW's 1.4 EA211 4 cyl turbo...............

Is it just me - or is this engine one cool power plant for high fuel numbers? At 36,000, you folks are calc'ing just under 41 MPG for my '17 Jetta S 5M.

That is 90% of my prior 2 liter VW TDI 6M wagon - in essentially identical driving (35city/65hwy).

I'm surprised that the fuel efficiency of this little motor does not get more attention

VW does some good stuff. I had a Jetta late 80's. I liked it. Maybe I'll get around to another VW one of these days.
