Gas Mileage charts back online... sort of

View your individual garage pages and you'll see your gas mileage charts at the bottom of the page.

So far it only updates once per day, but it will update after every gaslog modifcation very soon.

Enjoy!

Great!

i REALLY missed that graph.

Image updates when gaslog is created or modified. It should be up and running with no issues.

Please let me know if you have any.

Feel free to post your gaslog graph on other websites.

That's next on the list.

i'm doing it a little differently this time around. The last time I created the images on the fly, but then there is the issue of the database being hit really hard every time the image is displayed. I then made them static, but user's browsers cache the file so it doesn't update.

Now I'm making them static and displaying them through a PHP file.

Long story short, it's a bit longer of a process, but it's much faster and cleaner in the long run. That should be back up tomorrow I believe.

Something I've been meaning to ask. How is the blue average FE line calculated? Is it the average of the current tank (point) and each previous tank (i.e. - point 3 would be 3 tank average and point 20 would be 20 tank average)?

SVOboy 06-19-2006 11:29 AM

I think that's how it's done, your total average at each point and then that is carried over the the next, right matt?
