Cannonball run GS style

Here's something I was thinking about the other day that would be fun in theory but hard to do in reality. Have a GS meet in some exotic local for a long weekend and have a 20 to 50 mile course of mixed driving that everyone runs in their cars. Take the data then start swapping cars and see how everyone does in someone elses car. Have an individual and combine champ. Be a fun weekend driving and working on cars. Maybe next summer when GS grows a little more:D

Damn that dan. I still say the kansas badlands would be the best. All those a/c suckers would be feeling it then.

It's been in the upper 90s the last couple of weeks and I drive with the windows up with no air and the radio on in between AM stations so I can hear the injectors! So bring it on veggie boy!

It's your car I'll be sweating all over, I don't think you have a concept of how much I sweat, :p

Can you say plastic seat covers?

SVOboy 07-04-2006 06:10 PM

I'll take them out for weight reduction, mwhahahaahaha, kidding.

GasSavers_katman 07-04-2006 06:15 PM

Just have to put some extra leather conditioner on the seats. Just for you, I might have to lock the heater on high, mwhahahaahaha, not kidding.

OK, kidding.

I'm telling ya guys... I live not one hour away from the Salt Lake Flats. If it's good enough for speed challenges, it's good enough for gas mileage challenges too.

Bring it on. I wear a leather jacket with winter lining in 90-100+ degree weather with the windows up and no working AC, and I rarely ever sweat.
