Unrealistic Fuel price

I live in the Philippines and the price of a liter of Unleaded gasoline here is Php30.97. However, when entering the price in the Fuel-up page, I get an error that the price is unrealistic. What can I do?

You could convert it to dollars, then note the real price. I like yahoo currency converter. It is an extra step though.

I just added Philippine Pesos to our list of converted currencies for data entry, so you should be able to enter your price now. As long as you have your country set as Philippines (looks like you do) it should work for you.

We check the price on input to make sure someone is adding the price per liter or gallons, not the total of the fuel-up, which happens quite a bit. But we're only tracking 20 currencies or so to make sure the conversion is a realistic number. If you're not using one of the 20 currencies on the list, the system defaults to the boundaries for US dollars. This works out ok for currencies that are close US dollars. We'll add a currency to this internal list for data entry when it's requested.

Good! That did it!

Thanks again.
