the information he told us already, :p, and the possibility for more!

krousdb 08-12-2006 07:56 AM

IIRC the 88-91 HF was 0.29.

SVOboy 08-12-2006 07:59 AM

darin and i just had the rear wiperless hf versus dx/si in someone else's thread yesterday. but yes, that's correct (according to my honda sales brochure that came with the car).

krousdb 08-12-2006 08:01 AM

If I had a rear wiper, I would remove it too..

SVOboy 08-12-2006 08:02 AM

yeah well, it's impossible to see out the hatch in the rain without it, i'd test out rain x but how many times will it rain enough to test it before i leave, :p

krousdb 08-12-2006 08:05 AM

If you keep replying to me I will never overtake your post count!

Oh, and so as to keep on topic here, does anyone have the frontal area for a 92-95 hatch (the single mirrored version preferably)?

SVOboy 08-12-2006 08:40 AM

Eh, nevertheless. 20 sources of contradiction > 1 source we're forced to trust, so I wouldn't mind seeing it.

SVOboy 08-12-2006 09:06 AM

grrr, i need to work on the damn archive section of the faq.

MetroMPG 08-12-2006 09:17 AM

Come on, internet nerds...

Old web sites are cached at Google - some of the site referred to is still available. Copy the link, feed it to Google, then choose the "Google Cache" version of the page.

This page lists drag coefficients and frontal area values for many vehicles:
https://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:...n&ct=clnk&cd=1

Or, use archive.org's "way back machine":
https://web.archive.org/web/*/https://...rmayf/tbls.htm

SVOboy 08-12-2006 09:22 AM

Archive.org is nice but it's never had what I wanted so I forgot about it, :p

Darin, why don't you do the damn FAQ archive then, ;)
