Steve,
You need to go into your garage and change your vehicle type from gasoline to hybrid. It's difficult enough competing with Aero Civics and crazy Metro pilots.:p |
Welcome Steve! Awesome job! It's numbers like that that pretty well make up my mind that I need to get a HCH2 if I ever get enough money together.:( After going with Tom, Wayne, and Tony to the meeting in Oak Creek, WI a couple of weeks ago, I came to the conclusion that my type of driving would be better suited to the Honda instead of the Prius. If I lived in a big city I would probably go with the Prius. My dream would be to have an Insight but there are 4 in my family and they wouldn't fit.:( Again, awesome numbers. Next goal is 1,100 or 1,200?:)

I'm thinking that the 5MT HCH-1 has more hypermiling potential than the CVT HCH-II. I think that Wayne would agree. A used HCH-1 might replace the VX some day, unless I can find a diesel hybrid instead.

2005 I think. in addition to the 5 speed, it also had lean burn. The HCH-1 CVT does not have lean burn. The HCH-II only comes with CVT and does not have lean burn either.
